Stop wasting your time in 7 short steps

13/03/2017

This is the second week of March. You’ve probably given up or forgotten some of the goals you promised to yourself on New Year’s Eve and now, reading this post, you think the year is going by too fast and you’re wasting your time. Really? Let’s check this out with a simple question:

“What did you have for lunch yesterday?”

If you didn’t answer and you are already reading this part of the text, it only proves one thing: It is not life that is happening too fast, it is you who is not paying attention in time.

So to help you, here are eight tips to make the most of your time.

  1. Think twice before you speak
Discussions can cause stress and waste your time. If it’s not worth it, agree with everything the other person says and carry on with your life.
Time saved: from 10 minutes to 3 hours.
  2. What should I wear today?
Do you know that day when indecision is part of your soul? If you do, next time it happens to you just accept it. You’re freaking out and your clothes are fine. Leave your place and don’t look in the mirror for the day.
Time saved: from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Stop suffering from problems
    Sort it out.
Time saved: from 10 minutes to a lifetime.
  4. Stop postponing
Make decisions now! Well, actually after reading this post.
Time saved: from 10 minutes to some years of your life.
  5. Ignore…
…boring people, those who gives indirect messages, gossiping about others or people seeking for attention.
Time saved: from 1 second to 8 hours.
  6. Stop moaning
You waste your time and others peoples time who have to listen to you.
Time saved: from 40 minutes to a lifetime.
  7. Choose better ways to ‘waste time’
Life is already a big brother. You don’t need to watch so many series, soap operas, and TV shows. Have a life.
Time saved: from 40 minutes to a lifetime.
  8. Stop giving ‘like’ on social media
Liking posts makes you waste more time than anything else in life. Damn your friend’s dinner photo, where he spent holiday or what his kids did at school. When you meet up, talk about those moments.
    Time saved: incalculable.

I hope this post has helped you. Now go and enjoy life and don’t worry about liking this post. I use Google Analytics. 🙂
